A CULTURE OF LEARNING AND FAITH
Being one of Colorado Springs' top Catholic schools is an honor that we don’t take lightly. Excellence is our calling. As a Preschool through 8th-grade Catholic school, we set the bar high in our academics, in how we serve others, and in how we live our faith.
A Culture of Faith and Learning in the Catholic Classical Tradition. Welcome to our community!
THE SPIRIT OF DIVINE REDEEMER
WE CHALLENGE AND INSPIRE
When you first step onto campus, you will notice something unique. It is the spirit of community that envelops Divine Redeemer Catholic School and permeates throughout the campus. You will hear laughter and notice students engaged in learning. It won’t take long to discover that, in the midst of a rigorous curriculum, our exceptional faculty and staff inspire by visibly role modeling the faith through continuous practice of prayer, discipline, liturgy, and sacraments.
THE IMPACT OF DIVINE REDEEMER
What our parents say:
"Divine Redeemer does a lot of things really well. Their focus on helping my child not only academically but as a whole (emotionally, spiritually, mentally) is done so well. Divine Redeemer brings families together-the sense of community is wonderful and not like anything I have experienced."
" Conscious, skilled teachers and staff. Excellent leadership modeling and training for students. Loving acceptance and support for student struggles. Faith in action daily. Parent involvement welcomed. The school is CLEAN and structured. Thank You DR !"
"DR provides a loving and caring community that really cares and values the student. They are more than just a student. I really feel my child’s best interests are of importance to the teachers and staff at Divine Redeemer."
What our students say:
I love Divine Redeemer Catholic School because...
... "everyone tries to help each other."
..." it is academically challenging."
..."it is my favorite place."
..."the students and teachers are really friendly."
..."we get to talk about Jesus."
From Pope Saint John Paul II:
“In a cultural climate in which moral norms are often thought to be matters of personal preference, Catholic schools have a crucial role to play in leading the younger generation to realize that freedom consists above all in being able to respond to the demands of the truth.”
THE HEART OF DIVINE REDEEMER
Strong academics are a cornerstone; meeting and exceeding the criteria of National Blue Ribbon schools, our students have performed at least 1 year above grade level consistently for decades. Students are deeply familiarized with academic rigor and embedded in a culture of learning.
Developing Compassionate Leaders
A strong Catholic identity as a cornerstone fosters students who are rooted in faith to be confident, servant leaders. Community members have a deep sense of purpose and cultivate that sense of purpose in students by asking: what are you doing with what you’ve been given?
A Servant's Heart
Community service projects provide students with opportunities to show great compassion, mercy, and grace. 100% of DR’s students help in several community projects by the time they graduate.
